Our Elite Pergola

Double Beams

This style offers a double beam construction on all four sides, making it the most sturdy structure out of our pergolas. We fabricate our beams from either 3″x12″ or 3″x10″. Then we join the beams by using our famous Dovetail joints.

Dovetail Joinery

We use Dovetail Joints to slide our beams together. This technique creates a seamless and elevated look to our pergolas. Combining our double beams, dovetail joints and interlocking braces makes this the ideal structure for windy areas or to hang large swings.

Interlocking Knee Braces

The Kingston uses interlocking knee braces to provide you with superior lateral support. We have designed them as 3″ curved braces that connect into the beams on all four sides of the pergola.

Our Standards

Like all of our timber structures, the Kingston is made from #1 or BTR Douglas Fir FOHC. These specialty timbers are high-quality and rough-sawn in appearance.

Every single board is carefully inspected to meet our high standards and is then sanded (leaving the rough appearance but smoother touch), and edges routed for that high-end finished look.

The Kingston can be designed in many shapes and specifications to meet your unique needs. Timber framed structures are an excellent way to create a beautiful outdoor living space.

Pergola Kits

Each pergola kit comes stained or left unfinished. We use a high-quality, water-based stain and a 3-year limited warranty (through Sherwin Williams).
