The Little Brother

DoVetail Joints

Like the Hammock Hut, the Jr. is designed with D ovetail joinery and timber lock screws. Once everything is in place, we seal them with our dowel plugs to give it a beautifully clean and finished look.

No Permit Required

One of the best features of the Jr style is the size. This has been designed specifically with our California clients in mind. The footprint is under 120 sq’ (if only just barely), so it does not need to be permitted (please check local regulations and HOA restrictions).

Perks of the Jr.

This structure has more features than just durability to offer. Do you want electrical power posts so you can add a TV, a sound system or hang bistro lights up? We can do that! The kit comes with 1 power post that conceals the electrical wires inside the post, making it hassle free for you – all you have to do is simply plug your outlet into the post and you have power. We also offer up to 1 fan to help keep you cool during those hot days!

Introducing the Jr.

We are so excited to be able to offer this new timber frame in the Hut Collection. Don’t be fooled. This little guy packs a punch! Dovetail joint connections, 2”x 6” tongue and groove ceiling, #1 grade Douglas Fir, and classy standing seam metal roofing all like its big brother the Hammock Hut.

It is great for a comfy sitting area, outdoor dining, or outdoor kitchen. Get your Hammock Hut Jr in a semi-transparent finish or left bare. Add a fan and “Power Post” and you are ready to enjoy some covered outdoor space!

Each Hut Collection DIY kits comes stained or left unfinished. We use a high-quality, water-based stain and a 3-year limited warranty (through Sherwin Williams).
